G.SKILL 11th Annual OC World Record Stage 2025

SkatterBencher joins the ASUS OC team at the G.SKILL’s 11th Annual OC World Record Stage 2025 at Computex.

To quote the official G.SKILL press release:
“The G.SKILL OC World Record Stage continues to be one of the most anticipated highlights in the extreme overclocking scene. Each year, top-tier professional overclockers converge at the G.SKILL booth during Computex to push hardware to its limits and break as many overclocking records as possible, using liquid nitrogen (LN2) for extreme cooling. This year’s event showcases cutting-edge performance motherboards from ASRock, ASUS, GIGABYTE, and MSI, the latest platforms from Intel and AMD, and G.SKILL DDR5 memory.”

G.SKILL OC World Record Stage 2025 Schedule
Together with Tony and Safedisk from ASUS and Elmor from ElmorLabs, I’ll be at the G.SKILL booth on May 21, 2025. I’m sure most readers are familiar with Safedisk and Elmor, but few might know Tony.
Tony Yu (俞元麟) is the host of the 普普通通Tony大叔 Bilibili channel, which loosely translates as Ordinary Uncle Tony. Furthermore, he is also the General Manager for ASUS China. The Bilibili channel is well-known for their occasional extreme overclocking exploits such as when they overclocked the Ryzen 7 8700G to 3860 MHz, the Loongson 3A6000 to 3 GHz, and recently the GeForce RTX 5090D.
If you’re attending Computex 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan, feel free to drop by at any day during the week to check out what the different overclocking teams are up to.

May 21 Agenda
While we’re still working out the details of the specific schedule of the day (and we want to keep some things a surprise), I can only provide a general agenda. Here’s the general plan:
- 09:00-11:00: Setup system
- 11:00-12:00: First XOC window
- 12:00-13:00: Lunch
- 13:00-14:00: Second XOC window
- 14:00-16:00: Third XOC window
- 17:00-18:00: Teardown

My primary system will feature an Arrow Lake Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard, high-speed G.SKILL memory, and of course plenty of LN2 cooling. If the internet connectivity permits, I will also try to put up a livestream on the SkatterBencher YouTube channel. If that happens, I’ll embed the livestream below.
Live Overclocking Results
I’ll post links and screenshots to the overclocking results after Computex. Stay tuned!
