ASUS Water-Cooled OC Preset is an ASUS overclocking technology that provides you with a single option to overclock your processor.

ASUS W790 Motherboards
The water-cooled OC preset is an excellent addition to the ASUS Pro WS W790 motherboards, giving Xeon W customers an easy path to additional performance. The preset can be enabled with the click of a single button in the motherboard BIOS. It is currently available on the ASUS Pro WS W790 Ace and Sage SE motherboards but may be added to other motherboards in the future.
For Intel Xeon W-2400 and W-3400 Sapphire Rapids processors, enabling the water-cooled OC preset drastically improves the all-core performance by changing the Turbo Boost 2.0 Ratio configuration.
- On the Xeon w7-2495X, the all-core frequency increases by more than 1 GHz from 3.3 GHz to 4.4 GHz.
- On the Xeon w5-3435X, the all-core frequency increases by almost 1 GHz from 3.7 GHz to 4.6 GHz. In addition, it increases the maximum CPU ratio for all cores by +1, except for two “super”-favored cores. As a result, all cores can now boost to 4.6 GHz, and four cores can boost to 4.7 GHz.
- On the Xeon w7-3465X, the frequency in all situations (except for when two cores are active) increases. The all-core frequency even increases by 800 MHz from 3.2 GHz to 4.0 GHz.
For some processors, the preset may set manual voltages.

Do note that the preset settings may change in newer BIOS releases, so make sure to verify the settings yourself when enabling the option.
